Mechanical Engineer

Hydrogen Processes. Design and optimize hydrogen systems powering the future of clean energy.

  • Clean World Ventures is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in hydrogen processes and plant operations to support the design, development, and operation of advanced clean energy systems. This role focuses on hydrogen production technologies and balance of plant subsystems, contributing to the successful deployment and scaling of CWV systems.

    The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience across design, commissioning, and operational optimization of hydrogen-based systems.

  • Design & Development

    • Design and optimize mechanical systems for hydrogen production plants

    • Develop P&IDs, equipment layouts, and system schematics

    • Perform simulations and stress analyses to ensure system safety and performance

    Plant Operations

    • Support commissioning and operation of hydrogen production systems

    • Troubleshoot and optimize plant performance

    • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet project objectives

    Safety & Compliance

    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and hydrogen safety regulations

    • Conduct risk assessments and HAZOP studies

    Project Support

    • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting

    • Monitor progress and prepare technical reports and documentation

    Innovation & Improvement

    • Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, safety, and scalability

IT/Cybersecurity Specialist

Lead and secure the digital infrastructure behind next-generation clean water and energy systems.

  • Clean World Ventures is seeking an IT / Cybersecurity Specialist to lead the development and management of a secure, resilient enterprise IT environment. This role will function as the company’s CISO, responsible for protecting critical systems, data, and operations across both business and industrial environments.

    The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise IT, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of CWV’s digital ecosystem.

    • Lead the design, implementation, and management of secure enterprise IT systems

    • Develop and maintain a Written Information Security Plan (WISP)

    • Establish and manage cybersecurity, risk, and governance programs

    • Ensure data protection across business systems, engineering environments, and cloud platforms

    • Oversee data backup, disaster recovery, and incident response strategies

    • Implement and monitor security controls across on-premises and cloud environments

    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and data privacy requirements

    • Classify and manage data based on sensitivity and risk levels

    • Lead company-wide cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives

    • Provide support for secure software development and IT operations

    • Evaluate and manage third-party vendor security and risk

    • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles (CIA triad: confidentiality, integrity, availability)

    • Experience with enterprise IT systems across on-premises and cloud environments

    • Expertise in cybersecurity risk management, incident response, and disaster recovery

    • Familiarity with secure systems architecture and enterprise security operations

    • Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, and data privacy requirements

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Lead the design and scale-up of advanced clean water and energy systems.

  • Clean World Ventures is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to play a key leadership and technical role within the engineering team. This position focuses on the design, development, and operational support of CWV’s Hydrothermal Reactor System and Balance of Plant subsystems.

    The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle—from concept and design through prototyping, testing, and commercial deployment—and will contribute to ensuring the technical and commercial success of CWV systems.

    • Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept through design, prototyping, and testing

    • Support design and operation of reactor systems and Balance of Plant components

    • Develop process flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams, and equipment specifications

    • Design systems including feed systems, cooling, thermal transfer, steam generation, and related equipment

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (chemical/process and electrical engineering)

    • Source and integrate equipment and components into system designs

    • Develop and manage project schedules and deliverables

    • Identify and mitigate technical and process safety risks

    • Provide on-site support during construction, commissioning, startup, and testing

    • Contribute to scaling laboratory and pilot systems to commercial deployment

    • Evaluate and implement process improvements with cost and performance considerations

    • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and thermodynamics

    • Experience with high-temperature and high-pressure systems

    • Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor)

    • Familiarity with engineering analysis tools (FEA, CFD, thermal analysis)

    • Ability to develop complex system designs and optimize performance

    • Strong project management and organizational skills

    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

    • Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience is a plus
